Michelin Challenge Design 2004 Winner
The Honda ASP is designed for the booming Chinese auto market. It is constructed as a small sized, lightweight vehicle. The car is very fuel efficient; It runs on hydrogen to reduce the environmental pollution to a minimum. This is very important because a booming Chinese auto market will have great affect on the earth’s environment if the cars run on traditional petrol.
The interior is simple and efficient but comfortable. Almost all functions (transmission, climate control, lights, multimedia tools) are automatic and / or voice controlled. The interior reflects the exterior by using the same combination of lines and surfaces. The four organic designed chairs provide the passengers with comfort and support.
The large wheels reduce the rolling-resistance and they are positioned on the corners of the small vehicle to give it a great look and superb stability.
